The "latest" is that Russia's Putin says Snowden is in a transit area of an airport in Moscow and hasn't technically entered the country.
Putin also was clear that he doesn't think Snowden has committed any real crime and isn't going to do anything.

He is travelling on a refugee document from Ecuador which is apparently where he is headed.

Ecuador???

At least he'll be much easier to put a hit squad out on in Ecuador.

Everytime someone discards government secrets of the U.S., authorities want him dead. Assange, that military guy whose name I forgot and now this guy.

Unfortunately even the common U.S. citizens don't value what these people are doing for them.

Everytime someone discards government secrets of the U.S., authorities want him dead. Assange, that military guy whose name I forgot and now this guy.

Unfortunately even the common U.S. citizens don't value what these people are doing for them.

Oh we don't wish him harm...but he either is 'The Man Who Knows Too Much'...or he is just an annoying jag-off who will get silenced because he embarrassed the 'system'. He actually has done fuck all...his revelations, 6 years after the story first broke...aren't going to change a fucking thing and every day, millions of Americans will still be (literally) pulling their pants down around their ankles and showing and telling the world everything about themselves.

I'm disappointed though...I thought Jubbers would rise to the occasion and gift us with wild conspiracy theories and lots of borderline tasteless GIFS.

It's really hard to believe that Russia and China covered his ass out of the goodness of their hearts. At worst, they get to make America look bad. At best, he gave them a "little something" to convince them to give him safe passage.

I bet you're asking, why not kill him and grab the laptops?

1) Because killing him would be doing America a favor and

2) Dude had to have been smart enough to encrypt the data. Dead men can't decode the data. Once his plane makes it safely to it's destination, then Snowden gives them the encryption key.
