So a super scary weather system that was brewed in Colorado made it's way up here to Canada on Friday night and stuck with us through the weekend. I made a short video about the monday morning aftermath.

Needless to say, I won't be making it in for work today. The snow outside my house is knee-to-waist deep. So, thank you Colorado for my Snow Day! Whee!

You sound so sweet

So you'll be indoors jerking your meat then?

lucky u are we had no snow for a while and today we have rain
here from Montreal

Why thank you!

I will be making cupcakes, playing some videogames and spending time with all you wonderful JUBers.

No PTO for Snow Days I'm afraid. I live in a city that probably still wouldn't shut down if we received nine feet of snow. "Can't you just tunnel to work?"

I think your snow came from California, not Colorado. :D

We generally export the weather to Kansas/Nebraska, then depending on the weather, usually off to the Great Lakes. Weather rarely moves straight North.

Nope, this snow came from Colorado. We got the storm shortly after Royal Heart. While the storm came from a Colorado low, the main contributor of the moisture for it came from California.

I thank neither Colorado nor California for the snow. I spent hours Saturday, yesterday, and today shovelling #$%@# snow.

I think the best part of all of this is that here in Denver we didn't get any snow from this mystery storm...there was snow last week in the mountains though

Well they said that the weather system carrying the snow formed in Colorado and moved north but, as it did so, it picked up a great deal of moisture. Phwee~

You betcha. On Friday, I could see the huge clouds built up over the mountains pouring snow down on them...with the top down on the convertible. :D

^ Cute! I can hear a little bit of Canadian accent showing through.

You need a fire in the fireplace ... keep away that bitter cold! ..|

I do have a bit of a Canadian accent from time to time. I blame the CBC.

A fire, some hot cocoa and a gentleman would certainly help to chase away the disagreeable weather. :D

Vancouver BC can use some snow for the upcoming Winter Olympics.....
It sure could! Vancouver's been receiving a lot of rain and some sunshine, from what I hear.
