SO any question which side lies thru it's teeth?

Oh BTW on the Woodward must be correct because he was right on watergate then you must take all matters of war that I say because I was in the cold war and we won that conflict. That is your same tortured logic.

Chance1, the citation of Mr. Woodward's book might be relevant if you so choose to use examples from it. Simply claiming it makes your point without letting us all know what your talking about doesn't move the discussion forward, does it?

^ figured people in this forum are up on politics and current events

Woodward has been every where talking about the book and parts of the book

And written about

Left and right channels and web properties

But fair enough

I suspect that to a lot of people, the political campaign as like a reality show, and they're just going through the process of deciding who to kick off the island or whatever. Facts aren't terribly relevant; it boils down to who they enjoy having on TV more.

Woodward is also quite content not naming sources in most of his tomes and publishing opinion without checking for accuracy. As the NYT has put it:
As a result, the narrative tends to reflect the spin of people who talked the most — or the most persuasively — with Mr. Woodward: in this case, it would seem, Republican and Democratic Congressional officials, and some administration insiders.

Oddly if you simply talk to those willing to talk and tell their story it doesn't have an air of absolute truth it is simply HIStory. I wonder if you ask Republicans today if they thought the failure was Obama's fault and not their own if they would agree wholeheartedly?

I suspect you are right ..especially for the infotainment folks who get quoted here regularly on the right and left.
