I think i have to agree with you on this one. However.............

There are so many mixed signals present in the original posting, one is not sure how to respond to the issues involved.

What does seem to stand out a bit to moi, is a degree of insensitivity towards the potential females that might be encountered.

And eventually returning to the male friend who is now married seems quite a bit unfair to place him in such a difficult position. That appears to be really intruding into someone else's life for one's own purposes. I would think one would want to leave this matter alone and not interfere in it in any way.
