get a couple gay hookup apps like Grindr or Scruff.

Pick up a new keyboard. Stock keyboards suck the "Ice cream sandwich keyboard" is amazing.

Pick up wallbase so you can download fantastic backgrounds for your phone.

Download Chrome Web Browser and never click the one that it comes with again

I've added about 10 - 15 to those that came with my phone. The only ones I use regularly are Runtastic to track all my bike rides and running, Navigon for navigation in my car and Trillian for communication.

I love Soundhound. It's an app that catches music when you're in public and tells you what the song is. So if you're eating in a restaurant and you hear a song you can use your phone to identify what the song is.

I would recommend Kindle as well. They have a lot of free books on there.

I also like the Merriam-Webster dictionary app. It's great for looking up words I don't know when I'm reading something.

Waze if you like having a nice GPS, Soundhound. I assume you already have Facebook app, also saw that you have Instagram as well.

Am I the only one who has trouble with getting to the websites that those QR barcodes lead you to? I'm wondering if it's just that I don't have good signal at the times when I scan the code, but I don't think that's usually true since a lot of times I'm not on the subway and that's really one of the only places where I don't have good signal.

If you drive, I highly recommend Gasbuddy. If it wasn't for this app I would have spent over 50 bucks more since using it at higher priced gas stations. Other than that, the other ones I would recommend have been recommended.

I use Pandora more than anything else. Color Notes is also handy to have, like Post-it notes for your phone.

i have a few useful apps.

sticky - a sticky note app that has 10 screens of available space and a widget for easy access
Dropbox - useful if you want to share files between your computer and your phone (useful for photos and word documents)
the amazon app store - you need an amazon account, but they do a free app every day (you can download it from their website)
kindle app - turns your phone into a kindle and there are tons of free books you can read
Ringdroid - you can use music from your phone to create your own ringtones
zedge - wallpaper and ringtone app

i also use go launcher, which is an alternate home app that allows up to 9 screens, has multiple animation and customization options and also gives a scrolling dock bar.

feel free to hit me up with any questions you may have ..|

The apps I love the most:

* Jefit: a bodybuilding app, but can be used for any kind of fitness. It tracks your workouts, lets you track your 1 rep maximum, has a large exercise database. It's pretty much my personal trainer.

* Whatsapp: can't believe I haven't seen this mentioned yet. Free texting (via mobile internet/WiFi) to anyone with the app.

* Soundhound: listens to music and tells you the artist, title and album. Similar to Shazam, but completely free.

* Pocket: used to be Read It Later. Install the browser extension and you can store articles so you can read them later. Syncs with your phone. I use if when I have to wait for the bus or something.

* Unified Remote: control programs on your computer via your phone.

Instagram is a must if u love to take pictures. And of course social networks like Twitter and Facebook.
