So is Sarah Palin going to be impeached?

I would wager that she'll make a run for president as soon as 2012. She's the one that most republican voters want, not McCain.

She appeals to a very narrow Republican base. Many Republicans don't like her for obvious reasons. If she and McCain win, it'll be one thing. But, if they lose, my guess (and hope) is that she'll just be another Dan Quayle.

Great point Spensed. She definitely appeals to a very narrow group. Not always sure who. I do not understand why he picked her any way. There were much better choice out there even if McCain only wanted to pick a female.

I'm voting for Obama but we can't get too confident yet. While the polls are going our way, 20 days is a long time in this election. 20 days for McCain to be a negative campaign could do the trick...and while I feel confident, I don't want to jinx this.

Sarah Palin has rallied the republican base like no other politician has...she doesn't seem to appeal to independents though and it's the independents that are going to decide this election!

I don't think he did pick her. I think other people made the choice for him.

Are you high?

She's going to take most of the blame for the November Blood Bath. (and THAT, my friends, will be the only time she'll be a victim of sexism.)
Ah, there's that ole attitude that Soil use to always bring here; slowly making its way back, eh?

Anywho, McCain has been taking most of the blame for his slumping rating in recent weeks. So it stands to reason that is indication he will take the blame for losing the election.

I think he picked her, but was advised by others it was the right move. His campaign was going nowhere and needed a shot in the arm, and she definitely provided that, until we found out she wasn't really made of anything and was just a pinup doll pretty much.

Impeached...no I doubt that but I think she'll be done politically. That is assuming that they loose the election in Nov. She was, in my opinion chosen for two reasons, A) she's a woman and the hope was to draw more women, and B) she's a religious...well I'll call wingnut and the hope was to "rally the base".

I rarely agree with Christopher Hitchens, but his assessment of Sarah Palin is too good to go unnoticed:
Vote for Obama
McCain lacks the character and temperament to be president. And Palin is simply a disgrace.

Last week's so-called town-hall event showed Sen. John McCain to be someone suffering from an increasingly obvious and embarrassing deficit, both cognitive and physical. And the only public events that have so far featured his absurd choice of running mate have shown her to be a deceiving and unscrupulous woman utterly unversed in any of the needful political discourses but easily trained to utter preposterous lies and to appeal to the basest element of her audience.

If the blood bath ever makes it to the Electoral College.

I'm now convinced that both Bush elections were stolen -- and that whoever is behind it is planning to do it again.

So she won't be impeached; she'll go where they want her -- even the Supreme Court.

Of course Bush stole both elections. I don't remember any other elections that had anywhere near that amount of "voter" problems. They're even being proactive this time, there's already one state that is having "voter" problems.

so the US voting system for this election is via Electronic machine ?

Sarah Palin was the only Republican female willing to embarrass herself like this. The others in the party knew exactly what this was. A vagina for hire.

In enough places that hackers can play around with hundreds of thousands of votes, yes.

And it's stupid! University students around the country devised dozens of different systems all more secure, more reliable, more verifiable, or all three, than what was produced and rushed into use. A few places have insisted on a hardcopy record, something that makes me proud -- but too many are too trusting of our government, like it was a god.

Which is why she is turning out record crowds nearly everywhere she goes. And before you say a lot are protesters, they're not. There was maybe 10-20 protesters at the Pensacola gathering.
