Iran said Australia, New Zealand & Canada are under the UK control.
They always do what the UK want in world politics.
I said "before yes but not now". He disagreed.

Is my statement true?

You're friend is from Iran... no bias there!

What do you mean?

He said "when the UK embassy was closed in Iran,
Australia, New Zealand and Canadian Embassies also closed for no reason".
Was that true?

Yeah you are right for a change :p

Don't think those countries give a damn what UK wants.

It's your friends job to provide proof, not ours to disprove.

He said how come when the UK embassy closed in Iran,
these 3 or more countries fellow the UK and closed their embassies for No reason?

I do not believe that England rules those other nations, but it they did it would be better than being ruled by Iran's founders. With the Iran government allowing our Embassy people to be taken hostage I would closed them to protect their citizens.

I said well, in these countries, the people are formerly from the UK (their ancestors)
therefore of course they are working together and support each other in world politics.

Britiain has largely forgotten it's role just over a century ago in the middle east, as it isn't really taught in schools. The natives from the Ottoman Empire, and Colonial Raj India know. They have been resentful about the British since.

Just perhaps the threat level was raised, prudence can be a good thing..

This is an accurate reflection of reality when ever the mobs exercise control of the streets it is wise to play safe.

The killing in 2012 of the United States ambassador to Libya, and staff members evidences the need for caution.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Benghazi_attack

I quote:

The 2012 Benghazi attack took place on the evening of September 11, 2012, when Islamic militants attacked the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, killing U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith.[7] Stevens was the first U.S. Ambassador killed in the line of duty since 1979.[8] The attack has also been referred to as the Battle of Benghazi.[9]

Several hours later, a second assault targeted a different compound about one mile away, killing two CIA contractors, Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty.[10][11] Ten others were also injured in the attacks.

...and of course the former British dominions of Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have been independent of the United Kingdom, and sovereign for over 100 years....despite which, they remain close family.

That's a question, not evidence.

You're missing the point. Telly and his Persian friend have cited a factoid that supports their bias.

As a result, the entirety of Canadian, Australian, and Kiwian foreign policy and conduct have been impugned. If that one factoid is correct, the thinking need go no further.

But it is someone who shares his hatred for Islam. That must be a lot of folk from Iran, especially considering the view that Western powers are in cahoots.

It's not that hard to imagine how this all came up:

"So, I was wiping up shit off the bathhouse floor, and Masoud sez to me, he sez, "YOU Aussies just suck the imperialist British cock anytime they ask, don't you?"

He is studying uni in Australia.
He said from outside looking in, the UK still control those countries mentioned but i dis-agreed.

That's progress......you've just won a star.

I would recommend that your friend read a serious history book, or two to enlighten his understandings. A simple course in Civics might also better contribute to his knowledge.
