Oh, I guess the drama never really departs the workplace. Some of my co-workers, whom either haven't participated in the game "Guess Josh's Sexuality" (see previous blog entry) or were trying to bait me into an argument, were discussing how homosexuality is unnatural.
This is the general course the conversation was headed while I was listening:
Woman [speaking of another co-worker] : "He can't help it, he is just that way."
Man: "He can too, my uncle was gay in his early years and ended up marrying and having kids."
Woman: "Nah, that's not what I hear; I hear once you 'go gay', you are always gay."
These are the comments that I have been trying to avoid by keeping my personal life personal. I do not have the resources to fight these energy vampires destined to seek the life force from me. I just wanted to interject and pull these people from their dark age philosophy, but I resisted figuring it would probably be a futile attempt.
