Well, he's obviously confused and scared and unsure of himself. Demanding he give up women for a relationship with you is probably not going to work if you verbalize it like that. At least not right away.

My feeling is that you need to capture him physically before his mind will accede to the realization that he is gay. But that is a risk, because he may turn on you.

There is no easy answer here.
