I love these questions. It isn't often that you get to really be proud of all of your heritages. I am mostly Polish and Scottish, but I also have English, German, Czech, Irish and Romanian blood in me. What a mutt!!

Mom's side 100% German. Dad's side 1/2 (English, Irish, Scots) and 1/2 German. But ... the Family Name is Anglo, with a "Crest", and everything. So ... guess I'm one of a dying breed ... WASP.

However ... since I've been with "My" Kev since 1982, I could be considered mainly Irish "by injection"!

just curious...do white people, especially white people who live in urban areas, feel bland because there are so many mixed people around...i mean, are u proud to say, for example, "i'm a wasp" or do you "ethnicize" it...?? or am i getting a mistaken impression of the makeup of the rest of the country?

My father is Danish and Norwegian. My mother is Danish, German & French. Both of my parents were born & raised in Denmark, so visiting my parents house is like visiting another country.
