Actually, on a historical basis, that might not be correct. Native Americans originally came from Asia by traveling over an ice bridge between Russia and Alaska. And they are typically a mix of mongoloid & australoid.

I am 50 percent french canadian because of my dad, and 25 perent english (england) and 25 percent russian from my mother.
 
Irish/Dutch/English with 1/4 Choctaw on my Dad's side, and 1/4 Cherokee on my Mom's side. If given the chance I would check "Brown" on nationality census polls. ;)

My cultural heritage is Chinese and I speak one of the many different languages. Other things which could consider cultural about what I do is the cooking, and observance of certain festivals and such, as well as my appearance...
 
also you have to go back to my great grandparents on my dads side and great great on my mums side to find any of them born outside australia and none of them were convicts;)
