This is such a loaded question for me, because I looked on the IRS site, and I'm supposed to get mine this coming Thursday - almost $1,100!!!

I'm like a kid in a candy store with a loaded gift card, right now, inside my head.

The possibilities inside my head...

Steak Dinner...

A different kind of beef...
(some adult fun, since I've never ever been to a club, or never enjoyed the company of a hot stripper/go-go guy)

a decent used car...
(I'm not even going for broke on that one - I just want a trustworthy hoopty that won't break me in gas, and won't leave me stranded)

Expanding my video game collection...

And other uses for the money, as well.

I had to get another car recently, and I'll use it to pay off the short term loan I took to do so. My return is larger this year because I get a rebate for installing solar panels.

JDC, I hope you get a car, even if it takes a bit more saving to get a decent one. It is fundamental to getting a better job. Mobility is important. Remember that insurance is a major consideration in budgeting it.

Good luck.

Thank you, sir! ..| Now that I'm in the city, there's far more opportunity to get more bang for the buck, even on a used car. It'll be so nice when I can finally stop giving the mafia-ran public transit system here my hard-earned $80/month for the straight-up LOUSY service they give in return.

dont get Super Paper Mario for starters. that is the worst game. I sold it to Gamestop within 1 day. fucking lame.

I'm getting back a little over 1,400 this year. That's going to pay off my credit card balances, so I won't have them in the way, as I am seriously looking to buy a place before summer.

I got my return and paid off my car. Took just about everything, but feels good.

Do a little shopping but bank the bulk of it and maybe pay down my dental bridge lol.

An Alienware M14X gaming laptop all speced out at 2400 bucks. :D

pay next years taxes with it.....

I won't be getting a refund this year. Not a suprise, I haven't gotten a refund in 20+ years. This year I have to pay a bit over $6,000.

WRONG. Great game. Buy it.

And I plan to move with mine.

I was a die-hard Super Mario fan when I was little. I'm a die-hard fan right now, at age 30. I will be a die-hard fan at my funeral. I have most of the games, I have two Mario keychains. I have a full costume (denim Dickies overalls, red and green shirts, and red and green monogrammed ballcaps (M) and (L)), and I even have a pair of boxers that proclaim, "Mario Is My Homeboy!"

I started doing more "independent projects" a few years ago. That sort of spelled the death knell for any tax refund. I put 25% of everything I make from those into savings, which is usually about the right amount to pay the tax bill when it shows up.

I may not be getting a refund because of some consulting work I did (no taxes were deducted), but if I do get anything back, it's going to go towards bills.

I don't know if I'm getting anything back this year, due to a bit of freelance work. If I do get anything back, I'll probably just put it into my general funds.

I'm getting back almost $1400 this year.......my biggest refund to date......as much as I want to take a vacation i'm gonna hold off. Only thing I really want to do with the money is upgrade my phone.....and maybe hit the liquor store and stock up on my faves haha

I'm getting hardly anything back this year, so I'll just put it in savings and pay a bill with it.

(!w!) <-- not really
