I am very monogamous when I'm in a relationship.

It is no different then being str8 and finding the girl walking by attractive. Most would be like.... man that Girl is hot.... but they wouldn't be... let me cheat on my GF. Or vise versa if I was gay saw a hot guy...

Why do people always assume just because I'm Bi, that I love to cheat all the time....

Ya´ll are a little self-righteous IMO.

I asked cuz I read a LOT of posts where bi guys say I prefer sex with men and love with women and such and such... so can those guys honestly have a monogamous relationship with women if they prefer sex with men???? And vice-versa (but I havent read any such posts tho)

That is true for some.... but lumping all bisexuals into that category is like saying all gay men are pedophiles... Is that true? Hell no! but there are a lot of srt8 folks out there that believe it.

My point was you can't lump all bisexuals in that category. Take myself... and a lot of the others on the bi forums, that just don't have a preference at all. I find I'm attracted to the person regardless of their sex!

The capacity to cheat is based on the person not their sexuality.

I'm bisexual myself, and honestly I don't know who I'll settle down with anyone. However, if I were to settle down I wouldn't cheat under any circumstances as my sexual attractions are tied to particular people and their personality not just any old hot guy or girl.

However, on the other end of the argument. I have notice there seems to be a more fellow bisexuals that would rather just have sex with a guy (some instances with random guy(s)) and nothing more. I do find this quite strange, but that is their business.

But, honestly I don't even think I could even harbor a friendship somebody like that.

I understand where you are coming from, but just having sex with somebody is persay "bartering" yourself out to somebody when there is nothing even if there is an "understanding". Yes, there are some guys and girls I find hot, but I have a little thing called self-control. Yes, I do agree with the STDs that is the MAIN REASON why I don't fuck around with any ole' body regardless of their gender. I also agree with the getting tested as I doing regularly that when I get into my next relationship, but at the moment I am celibant and have been for nearly 5 years. The # of STDs out there are in the plenty and just "getting off" with somebody hot is not a "benefit" whatsoever. As some STDs are contracted regardless of the use of protection, i.e. herpes.

There is ENOUGH NUTTINESS in this world to deal with and just finding "getting off" or "cheating" then find out you got a STD from that encounter.

Maybe I'm just one of the last few sane, nonself-destructive person I know that has better and more important things to do with their time.
