I live in Los Angeles County, California, USA. I live in the San Gabriel Canyon in a development called Mtn. Cove. The development that I live in is very unique in that it is surrounded by the Angeles National Forest, the San Gabriel River runs along it, and a seasonal creek runs through the development. You have to go over a bridge (the river) in order to get to the development. We get a lot of wildlife yet at the same time, we are only around 15 minutes from Pasadena, CA. When it rains heavily, we get natural waterfalls along the steep hills in the canyon. The neighborhood is full of wonderful neighbors who know each other. We regularly have community events, block parties, etc. And we have quite a few homes that are owned by gay people. One thing that I love about the development is how diverse the commuity is. The mornings are really beautiful....especially when the clouds roll along the hills of the canyon.

We have a lot of hiking trails and a bike path that goes all the way down to the Ocean.
