Sorry I have no answer for you. It could go alot of ways, your story reminds me of two friends of mine that went the way of them getting together. But it could easily go the way of him getting scared and quickly marrying a girl, or this is just is a fwb until he finds the right girl or guy.

I'm not in the mindset that we are dating, if that's what you mean. We go out to do things but I wouldn't consider them 'dating', it's just us two friends going out ot a sushi restaurant, or to see a movie, or shop in the mall... etc.. stuff like that..
