so you're ineligible to be a police officer or law enforcement if you messed with marijuana or hashish within 3 years? WTF?

lol @ you guys jumping to conclusions without even letting me explain my drug usage.

I AM NOT A WEEDHEAD.

let me explain. i started smoking back in july 2007 where i smoked only 3 times, the third being august 4th 2007, where i ended up in some crazy ass incident in toronto. i stopped from that point and smoked in 2008 which was one time back in january or feburary and then i smoked again inbetween june and july. i stopped again from that point and smoked again inbetween late may and june 2011 where i had just graduated college. i pretty much used weed to experiment around with since i was bored and was feeling sort of stressed out. i do not get on the computer, sit on the couch, smoke weed everyday and etc. i actually do not want to be a police officer. i want to go to law school but the thing is i need to work because i have loans and bills to pay as well as moving out, living on my own and stuff. i had to hold off from the law school thing because i didn't want to jump right into there especially knowing that the job market hasn't been good towards lawyers. i wasn't aware that there was a 3 year period for marijuana otherwise i wouldn't have smoked last year.

so there you go.

I love that you're in so much in denial and making up excuses.
I don't care if you smoke weed but honestly if you plan a career in law enforcement you have to be able to follow the laws.

scary thought are you trying to be on the Toronto Force?

excuses? i honestly don't want to be a police officer, never planned on doing it because i don't think that i'm built for it but if i have to do it, i'll do it. i also think it's a conflict of interest because my job would be targeting people who are just like me. last year at this time, i was contemplating going to law school but after hearing about how bad the job economy was towards lawyers. i decided to hold back off it and look at my other career options since my career field is criminal justice. i don't plan on smoking weed again because it actually messes my head up as it did last year where i was laying in the bed the second half of the summer. you can say that from the time i graduated to some months ago, i was figuring out what to do since then.

i'm actually thinking about joining the nypd if nothing else falls through for the moment. i wasn't able to pass the us customs and borders exam and my township police exam. if anything else better were to come up, i'll do that instead. i'm pretty much trying to get myself in a situation where i can put my foot into as much avenues i can just in case one thing doesn't work. as far as things is going, law enforcement isn't really working for me so i might have to jump head on into the law school route.

You kidding? Those tests are a joke. I passed all of them first try. Those tests are not even the main way for them to determine.

Usually, there are 2 types of tests: (1) your general knowledge (they don't want to waste money doing background on a dumbass) and (2) personality tests (which entails honesty, professional opinions, etc.).

The first one should be a breeze for anyone who's been through college. It's the second one that weeds out most people. Those tests are especially designed to smoke out habitual liars. Most habitual liars don't know that they are habitual liars, so these tests help the system to smoke them out.

One of the ways they do this is ask you a series of questions about yourself. Then 5 months later, they make you take another test. Same set of questions worded differently. I've been told by the people behind these tests that this simple test weeds out most of the candidates who are habitual liars and people who don't have much integrity.

The point is I don't understand how you couldn't pass those exams if you've been through college like you said you did. Either you have a general knowledge issue or you have an integrity issue.

Go for the Toronto Force.

yeah, i have a general knowledge issue primarily with the math. :( don't know how i flunked it.

I'm almost certain this is where he failed.

i failed the entry test which was the general knowledge test. that has nothing to do with what you highlighted.

and btw, if you have a problem with me, just cut to the chase and speak your mind so we can talk like men instead of you acting like a bitter annoying diva. i don't have any time for this back and forth bullshit where you basically are shittalking to get a response out of me. otherwise, keep all that ying yang shit to yourself. thank you.
