i've yet to watch a good gay movie. Not that I didn't enjoy any of them, I just didn't think they were good films

I thought Brokeback mountain was good but i don't classify that as a gay film

Beautiful thing.

yea A Beautiful Thing is one of the best movies i've ever seen

check out Cowboys and Angels, it's not a love story but a love story about friendship.

Touch Of Pink is a good movie about a gay east indian guy.

C.R.A.Z.Y.
A French Canadian movie. More of a coming out movie, but a good one.

A good gay movie is an oxymoron. Movies in which gays help produce are fantastic. But when the movie is intended for a gay audience, it's shit. Do they think we suck? I understand why the movies are terrible, most of the time they're independently produced. But there are good indie films out there, so that's not a good excuse.

Cruising is an oldie but good.

As is Maurice (mmmm...Scutter...)

Urbania is brutal but good.

I also liked Kiss of the Spiderwoman and Bulgarian Lovers.

There's a crop of new ones out, too: Jesse James, Eastern Promises, Harry Potter, Darjeeling Limited...

As is Maurice (mmmm...Scutter...)
Maurice is worlds above any other gay movie. Really beautiful and really emotional. And aside from actually being a good film, just the name Scutter gives me a hard-on, to say nothing of the young Rupert Graves who portrays him.

Sunday Bloody Sunday

Maurice

Making Love - a shame they were afraid to go all the way with the story.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert
