No more Palin or her family

No more talk of the PUMAs or the Bradley effect

No more calling Missouri the "bellwether state".( Thank goodness they got this election wrong, they're no longer an accurate predictor of the president  )

No more Joe "The Plumber" (or as McCain said today in Phoenix to get the Mexican vote "Pepe el Plumero" ).

No more Lieberman

No more Bush or Cheney

No more Elizabeth Dole

No more guilt by association (Ayers, Wright, etc)

No more questioning someone's patriotism (hate that word, we're all Americans, let's stop trying to prove who is more American... it's pointless)

No more faulting someone for good qualities (education, manner in speaking, even temperament, living overseas, being an "intellectual")

No more indefinite stay in Iraq (the end is near, the troops have to be happy)

No more Karl Rove politics.

Don't give up on Missouri. It hasn't been called yet. We did elect Claire McCaskill two years ago after all. The City of Saint Louis voted 82% for Obama.

Good Riddance now, but I am sure some will creep back up in 4 years

Levi is breathing a sigh of relief, he doesn't have to marry Bristol now...

I'm afraid bad penny Palin will be back for '12, and going for the bigger prize.

I should never again have to be sickened again by seeing Joe Lieberman, who is "supposedly" really a Democrat, following John McCain around like a puppy, everywhere there was a campaign speech or rally.

lotsa stuff on Palin - on all the nets - she's gonna be senator perhaps very soon - and then there's the clothes and the country vs. continent thingy

Keith O had the Joe the Plumber thingy working fulltime tonite - i think he was a "worst person in the world"

Lieberman is front and center - last night u had evan bayh defending him - tonight u had olbermann treating a "guest" who said the dims like lieberman like he was out of his mind

tonite Chris Matthews suggested cheney should move out of the country

Rev Wright spoke in CT - very deliberately - he's out of hiding u know - and suggesting he was villified for NO reason

soooooooo

as usual LL

u got it wrong

Hate is on the way out, but the right wing hasn't figured it out. Their base is shrinking, it will probably take another election, or two, for them to fuly realize it. Hopefully, they are gone forever. Of course, the blow-hards will ride it to the end.

If the moderates desert the party, or lose control of it, as it contracts, it will become more strident and hateful not less. Fortunately the number of crazy wingnuts isn't enough to win nationally witout the moderates. If the Moderates win control of the party, the nastiness will still be there, just hidden away, and hopefully will die, off in a dark corner somewhere as time moves on.

Republicans, like herpes, disappear for a while but keep coming back. It's a vexing problem.

I know exactly what you mean. Some folks are like herpes. You think they are gone, you think maybe your free and then boom infection flairs up again. Quite vexing indeed.

They have to realize that they can't keep scaring people of minorities to win elections. Ethnic minority groups are growing rapidly as well as the number of educated people in America.

It's sad when a party in the most advanced nation in the world fears educated people.

If you listen to Bill O'Reilly educated people are liberal because of their liberal professors. Nonsense. I believe people with their degrees choose to be liberal because many college campuses are filled with different types of people from around the world. Arabs don't scare you if you've been to a university with them or have taken Middle Eastern Humanities. Blacks aren't scary either. Neither are the dreaded Mexicans they can't stomach now.

Is it any wonder why rural parts of America are voting for the Republican part overwhelmingly? It's not because they're white and are scared of anything different. It's because they've have little to no exposure to anybody very different from themselves.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning...

wow you guys even hate being agreed with. Now that is the same you can believe it.

Let's have a moratorium on words like "change", "maverick" and "fundamental".

Thanks.

I suppose you think you're being a Maverick because you called for a change in the fundamental nature of the discussion in here.

I wouldn't consider it bohemian to redirect the cardinal message back to the actual topic.:p

fears educated people is VERY dangerous. Guess which country killed ALL (or most of) the educated people (true story).
