I'm now completely sold on the concept of being "photogenic." A friend tried to introduce me to two different guys for a while now. But every time I checked their photo albums on facebook, I'd tell him that they're not my type. They just did not look attractive to me at all on photos. This month I stumbled on both of them at different birthday parties, and I had instant crushes on them! They were very hot! I just couldn't believe that people can look so drastically different on photos than in person. We're used to hearing that someone came out bad on a photo but to look like a different person is something else. I wonder how many of us pass on opportunities especially in "online dating" scene when we don't think a guy is our type based on pics.

I try to compensate for this by doing something weird in the photo. If everybody's jumping up and down, or screaming, or yelling at their neighbor, you won't notice that I'm not smiling my stupid goofy smile.
