1st love ron

Some people get my e-mails, others don't. They don't even bounce back to me as undeliverable. In other words, they just disappear. I find out later from people that they haven't received anything. Most do get through, but the randomness concerns me as I never know for sure. Could it be an ISP problem?

too many unanswered questions...

ISP email account or web email?

Which email app do you use?

this is either
1. spam blocker problem
2. memory problem.. i.e--> you think you sent an email when in reality you didn't.

if 2 is not the case for you consider the first option.

As SantaCBear said: What email system are you using 1st love ron?

Outlook Express.

It's not the case that I've spaced out and used the wrong addy as others have suggested, and I have also checked the Sent folder and they are there.

ISP account (.net).

if it is some small isp, he maybe isn't using the right methods to ensure that his mails are not considered spam.
but first we need to be sure that this is a spam filter problem.

ask someone that you know and who doesn't receive your e-mails to add your e-mail address on his whitelist or if he doesn't have that at least store your e-mail in his address book.
this will only work if he is using some web-based e-mail app, or has access to some kind of e-mail settings with that functionality on his ISPs website

then mail him again, and check if your mail goes through.

Found the problem (OK... ISP tech support did). It turned out that the "My server requires authenication" box was checked when it wasn't supposed to be. It somehow got re-set (checked box) by the computer fairy at some point.
