The plot of this comedy is when his best friend J'avonte (obvs black) goes to prison, Chad (obvs white) decides he's gonna join him cuz besties4life, only to find it's pretty much impossible for a white man in America to go to prison. Hijinks ensue when he commits murder, financial fraud and a host of other high-level crimes only for the system to reward him or at least not punish him. IE his financial scheme results in him being appointed COO of some new tech company, the guy he murdered is an ex-con so he's labeled a hero and so forth.

Matthew McconoHEYYYYYYYY ain't busy he can play Chad, remember to include pointless near-nudity for no reason cuz I just wanna see him in some briefs. A Time To Kill doesn't count cuz they were tighty whities, the granny panties of male underwear.

He's finally arrested for disturbing the peace and assault on a police officer while marching with BLM when he slips on a spilled ice coffee and his sign gives a nearby officer a papercut. M Knight Shamalamadingdong plot twist, he gets to prison only to find his best friend was shanked a week ego, he dead. Tug at the heartstrings! Ok there's your basic plot AND ending, I've pretty much done all the heavy lifting, now somebody gimme 300 pages of dialogue.

A papercut? No. Awful. And you'll have to change his motivation for going to prison. Warm and fuzzy gestures of friendship and sacrifice do not go well with social comedies. Keep working.

It's such a small plot point I think the tiktok generation can forgive it, the audience will forget why he's even trying to go to prison 30 minutes into the movie. What matters is the hijinks and and an overall sexy cast.
