Nothing mainly with politics related. More personal I guess.

Feminists puzzle me sometimes. They talk about equality among topics, but when a male is the one being abused by a woman then I have some feminists.. well most feminists tell me that a man should just deal with it and not do anything. So this must be applicable even in situation's of life or death right? It all just seems very far away from equality to me..

Suppose a woman you know pulls a knife out on you, you've known this person for a while and are shocked and scared for your life, do you try and avoid open combat with her and get wounded terribly, or get her the fuck away from you with any and all force?

Yes, there is definitely a disparity in the way we treat domestic violence between men and women. Men are more reticent about admitting they were assaulted by a woman but it certainly happens.

I think anybody faced with your scenario would be wise to get out of harms way as quickly as possible. Knives can do quite a bit of damage .

I've smacked down aggressive women before, no problem. If they're gonna attack me physically, down they go. My sister is nuts and is very physically abusive, to me, to her husband, and now to her little son. But she is one of those who doesn't have the sense to stay down when she's knocked down, will get back up and come for more. She has to be practically unconscious to stay put. Like I said, she is nuts.

lame sorry about that :(. tell him to get a grip on his life and divorce her! :D

"men shouldn't lay a hand on women"
Looks like you won't be getting laid then.

Domestic abuse of men is an equally big problem in today's society, it's just not reported on or viewed as as big a problem. It's the same with the communal perception of male rape - either by another guy or a woman. Men are viewed as the "stronger" sex and are supposed to be able to put up with it or not get in that situation in the first place.

Domestic, physical abuse of anyone - male or female - by their spouse or partner is something we all need to work towards stopping.
