i guess some people, i.e. raciest white folks, think its all a joke.

i find it ironic that i should read this today as this morning i was having breakfast at my favorite tex-mex joint.

i watched a white lady across from me order her breakfast from the waitress using loud, punctuated english as if the waitress was either deaf or did not understand english in general.

she even said "comprende?"

i found it highly irritating as i know the waitress is quite fluent in both english and spanish.

It's curious. She denies being a racist, while he freely admits it and claims it's "normal." Why would he defend her? I have to admit to some curiosity about what form his rant will take.

I'm fairly confident it will be offensive, though.

ETA: Wow, she's a birther. So she's not only a racist, she's a racist NUT. (Birthers are both, by definition. They're so outraged by the fact that an African-American is President that they'll go to any lengths for an excuse to believe that he isn't "really" President.)

Sometimes embarrassed to be a part of the human race? More like constantly...It's really no wonder people don't have any faith in government anymore. You just have to look at the people that make it up.
 
I thought the Republicans didn't support evolution....

Yeah, I live with constant species-shame. Trouble is, there's a real dearth of sentient bipedal species out there, and none of them are accepting transfers.

No hope for him. He will be made fun of and laughter by Rosie again.

I dont know how the world powers allow the tyrants round the med carry on as they do. They stand and watch as Rome burns. They should at least take Gadaffi (and Mugabe for that matter) out of the equations.

I also dont understand how 10 of the most powerful navies of the world stand by and cannot blow a couple of snot nosed terrorist/kidnappers around Somalia out of the water to smithereens for ever.

Well, I hope you're right, but we laughed about Reagan's campaign too. And Dubya's. And McCain's (though at least we were able to stop that guy).

No one is too stupid, too corrupt, or even too flat-out unqualified for the GOP to nominate as POTUS. No one.

I support assassinations of the tyrants such as Gadaffi ... etc. but not invading the country.
Its citizens will take care of the rest if these leaders are gone.

Perhaps. Hard to see a downside to Ghaddafi (creative spelling is fun!) dying, but there's a slippery slope if we start allowing foreign intervention by assassination.
