Do you have a favourite song you want them to play at your funeral.

Perhaps it's something that means a lot to you, or a song to cheers up the mourners.

Happy or sad, what's your farewell song ?

I'd pick Gloria by Laura Branigan just because it's my fav song at the moment and it'd cheer folk up.

I plan on cremation, no funeral. Might have a wake if I don't outlive everyone, in which case Oingo Boingo - dead mans party is the first piece. If I know beforehand I might splurge and plan a few surprises.

No service...just a party

3 doors down....love me when I'm gone

I would like to have the song "Tuesday Afternoon" played at my funeral.

Everyone thinks the song is about an afternoon on Earth . . . I'm not so sure.

If I ever get around to dying, and staying dead long enough to have a funeral I'd like this played then:

Of course at the end of the song I'd likely jump up and scare the pants off anybody there who doesn't know me. Those who know me (and therefore the ones who'd actually be there) would likely not be caught by surprise as they'd be expecting me to "wake up" at any time.

Song I want played at my funeral: "One Sweet Day" - Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men.

Song that will be played at my funeral: "Ding-Dong the Witch Is Dead" - from the "Wizard of Oz" soundtrack.
