Speaking of jet planes - I was on my way to the airport to take my yearly trip to Hawaii and I heard on the news that John Denver died in a plane crash.

I was a little nervous about joining John :scaredofthat:

Hawaii is on my bucket list. I know he crashed in one of those small toy airplanes. You cant get me in one of those :eek: Glad you you made it back in one piece. :)

Not the biggest John Denver fan. His music reminds me of times I spent in Placerville California in the 80s and 90s. Little cabin on a mountain. Gorgeous area at the time. Build bonfires at night and sing John Denver songs.

Although I eventually went to the other islands (I liked Maui) - Oahu was my favorite. It isn't quiet - that is why I liked it. There was a cool nightclub there called HULAS - probably gone now due to expensive real estate..
