Fuck is that song every insipid. I sang more imaginative shit in nursery school.
 
There are several songs that I loathe to hear. At the moment, though, I can think of only one:

Butterfly by Crazytown ... This song was so overplayed I stopped listening to the radio because of it.

The Girl from Ipanema ... I don't know why I hate this song so much ... I think its the music itself which is so frikken dated and the melody which is so off.

Copacabana by Barry Manilow ... Anytime I fucking hear this song it inevitably gets stuck in my brain... and...drives... me... crazy

Anything by Mariah Carrey... I find her to be a talentless fat whore who sounds like a cat in heat in a blender on frappe.

Ingrid Michaelson - The way I am or whatever the fuck her single is called, just heard it 100 times too many on the radio at work (when I had a job)

Anything nickelback

anything grunge/"alternative" rock style really irritates me for the most part. Like that one song Black Hole Sun. That's quite possibly my least favorite song in the rock genre. I really really really REALLY hate the way 'grunge' singers sing. The ones that try way too hard to make their voice sound low and raspy when it's not their natural range.

And mostly Gaga freaks me out, but a few of her songs catch me

oh and there's some song about "making love" that comes on the radio at work each day too, which gives me a party in my pants, and makes me feel like everyone's staring at me, until I sneak off and fix it. :/ it bugs me
 
i gotta hand it to Gaga though....anyone who can wear bedazzled lobsters on her head and get away with it, has gotta be doing something right.




and just about anything from the Jonas Brothers makes my skin crawl. I can't stand them.
 
"Somewhere Over The Rainbow", I may be a friend of Dorothy's but we could easily fall out over that song. It was inofensive enough till Eva Cassidy turned it into a durge and everyone following did the same. The cast of Glee were the last offenders.
 
Take a look at a top 20 music chart, chances are I hate all of those songs with a passion.

I'm not one of those people who 'hates' popular/trendy things, I just really hate a lot of today's main stream music. All of it is auto-tuned to hell, involves 'sampling' hits from the 60s - 90s instead of an original beat, or aren't even really singing and are rather someone simply talking at a pace that isn't quite talking.

Thankfully, there's a lot of music outside of the mainstream that gives me hope for the future of the industry...
 
Anything by Lady Gaga or Adam Lambert (so far) followed at a distance by "Achy Breaky Heart"
