It was about freaking time! Sonic must be one of the best videogames ever.

Kids nowadays don't know much about him.

I'll wait until all episodes come out and there is a huge price drop.

It's okay. I thought they were recreating some of the levels from the older games though. I couldn't find the special invincible sparkles where it was before :O

The homing dash is okay. Makes it feel kinda like the Sonic GBA and DS games (Which are fun) and the graphics are nice.

The demo is way too short though. I agree with others and I'll wait til the other episodes come out or it gets cheaper.

I'm actually much more interested in getting Sonic Adventure and anticipating more dreamcast ports. I hope that the next episodes are good :D

To men, it seems like there is a MAJOR problem in Sonic's psychics. Like, he stops nearly on a dime now, as opposed to actually gradually slowing down. And he doesn't seem to accelerate as fast either. It sounds like i'm being nit-picky, but that's what makes a Sonic game - the break neck speed.

I just couldn't like the demo because of that.

These are the main complains I've heard about this game. I'm surprised Sega wouldn't get Sonic's physics right, I'd figure that's the first thing they'd take care of if they wanted a "comeback".

But I'll judge when I try it myself... I also don't like the idea of "episodic" Sonic games. They are already short on their own, now they expect me to pay up 15 bucks for "episode 1"?? Really?? It's still cheaper than cartridges back in the day tho... but times have changed.

Ditto, it was really bad that he walks pretty slow. I would understand if you slowly move the analog sticks that he would walk slow but I'm pressing right pretty damn hard and he is slowly picking up speed every time.

I've been looking into getting it. I read some bad reviews on the iTunes store (was going to get it on my iPhone), but I may just download it on the PS3.

The reason the iPhone version is bad because (don't know if this is true or not) but it's said they were using the old build. The one that was going to be released earlier until they worked on the game some more. However, the iphone one has an exclusive level using the accelerometer. But yeah Sega fails at porting anything on the iPhone. Super Monkey Ball is the exception.

I didn't beat it yet but from what I've played I'm disappointed in Sonic 4. He isn't nearly as fast as he used to and the graphics are not great. To me it feels like a collection of stuff that couldn't cut it in the past games and they stuffed them in this one.....this is just my opinion though.
