I've rang them their phones are busy.
I've emailed them 3 or 4 days ago, they didn't reply.

I hope people hacked to their company even more ...

Well yeah, if you tried calling me I'd ignore the phone, too.

They are probaly still dealing with the problems of the past month....sooo

umm it is Sony Australia.
Nothing to do with Sony Hollywood.

Sony Australia customer service sucks since long long long time ago ...

The bigger the corporation....the worse the customer service.

I routinely make up to 4 0r 5 seperaate calls about the same thing because the answers and solutions vary drastically depending on who you talk to. I wait for the person who "gets it" to help me.

Sony Australia has an "exclude" right to import sony products and no other company can import Sony products correct ? That is why they are so arrogant, no competition.

Same thing with Sony UK ? Sony USA ? ... etc ?

Blame it on the Muslims.

An "Exclude" right. Yeah, they apparently have that to "exclude" customers they don't want to deal with. Hence the lack of response to your calls/emails.

Sony IS the manufacturer, who else would be importing their products but them?

But Sony Aust or Sony UK doesn't own by Sony Japan true?
They just use sony name because they have the exclusive right to import.

Customer service is increasingly non existent from most companies, not just Sony. The expense of hiring labor is so expensive with wages, taxes, health care, family leave etc, etc, that some companies would not survive if they tried to hire enough people to answer the phone. So, they have moved some to India and other countries: they have installed voice mail saying "all our representatives are busy" and websites which never seem to have the answer.
Part of the problem is that electronic products are so complex they cannot train people to know the answers to questions. i bought an iMack computer, so complex even small jobs are hard. It will do most anything but it is to complex to know how and no way to find out. I paid for a service to answer questions. So when I could not find a way to transfer vacation photos from my computer to a CD, I called. Two 1/2 hour "representatives busy" waits later--the first shifted to an "expert"-- the expert took a full hour to figure it out.
I have been using aol. Then the iMac decided not to take it, announcing that it was not available on "default ports"?? I called at 1pm and it took until 2:50 for her to figure it out.

In most cases they are merely part of the parent company, or a "separate entity" for the purpose of doing business in the locality in question. What you are suggesting is a company that imports other brands as well, but has the exclusive right to import specific brands. That is something slightly different.

I don't know about what they do but all i know is,
Sony "exclusive" importer company is arrogant.
