In Europe and Africa, if I'm in natural scenery I take care not to leave anything behind that is not biodegradable. So a banana peel I would leave behind, but out of the way.

Closer to a town, especially if I know there's gonna be a trash can along the way, I'll take my banana peel with me.

On a beach which is virtually deserted and no trash cans nearby? I leave it. Does it have frequent visitors? I take it with me.

There is a gay beach near my house, about a 20 minute drive. It's a nice day so around noon I thought I'd go catch some rays. I'm sitting there listening to my music and out of the corner of my eye I see the old guy get up from his chair walk over to the dune and throw a banana peel into the dune grass. I fucking hate litter bugs and instantly started complaining to him about it. He was so rude and belligerent telling me that a fucking banana peel is biodegradable and that I'm an asshole. We had words a few times during the course of the afternoon, I went to look for the cops but couldn't find any. He was a real charmer let me tell you, a self centered prick who thought he was someone because he was a paratrooper. I find it insulting that people feel free to litter up our parks and will tell anyone I see littering to pick up after themselves. At one point he called me fat....lol. I said that was insulting coming from an 80 year old man wearing a thong.

Am I wrong to complain about a banana peel, does it not count as litter?

I saw the whole thing, he walked up the beach in green spandex shorts and black boots. He stripped down to his thong and ate the banana, he then got up walked into the dune and threw his trash there....I still can't get over the entire scene. To think that some people, including some here, think it's ok to throw fruit peels around a beach is beyond my comprehension and it makes me very sad...

I don't give a fuck if this sounds or IS ageist...I know it is and I am OK with it....but when I would go to the beach and spend the day which was alot in my 20s...I would cringe when I saw really old men and women in speedos and spandex and come fuck me pumps.....and I promised myself that when I was their age I would never subject anyone to that...and I have kept my promise....

...and I would have been pissed off at ANYONE who threw the banana peel because it is so fucking disrespectful to the environment and to other people who you have to SHARE the place with...but to walk by in a damn thong at 80 makes the whole scene even worse....

I think I could handle a nude 80 year old just fine...but the thong...ewwwwwwwww....

I had to leave my gym a couple months ago one night because there was a man in his 80s...maybe even 90s...with rouge on and spandex shorty shorts on that made his saggy butt cheeks spill out....and a really tight kinda 1980s Olivia Newton John mid-riff top and bleached hair....and he was obviously there for this guy I figured out after a few minutes who seemed to like the attention..I gathered it was a regular thing....but I couldn't get away from either one of them....I kept moving to different machines and they were doing the same across the room..not on purpose to bug me which was nice....but in my line of sight. I didn't' like the vibe... and so I left.

So you're 20 Minutes from a beach. I'm a 15-hour drive. Can you tell me how this sea gras dune thing actually works. I'm picturing as not part of the beach itself, but something off to the side, out of the way of where anyone would walk or put down a beach blanket. Somewhere that maybe only squirrels could easily hop through. Do...uhhhh this might sound silly...do beach squirrels even exist??

Like I'm picturing someone living in the middle of the forrest all on his own. He peels a banana and drops it on one side of his house and he's an annoying asshole screwing up the neighbourhood. He peels a banana and drops it in the other side of his house, and he's a responsible gardener because that's where his official compost pile is. Same banana, same forest.

I'm thinking this is no big deal but I also think I'm not getting how this beach is layed out. Probably less room than in a forest, yeah?

so, the beach is there is a body of water, a stretch of sand (the actual "beach") then behind that is more sand with sparse grasses. The grass helps stop erosion. It's all one area, so when the pig dropped his garbage he was littering an area where everyone who enters the beach walks. It's equivelant to your farmer dropping his trash at his front door.

I was not talking about FPNY, but even if I was that was part of the point.


A simple fix versus election fraud. Hell one person in the thread helped me out and even proved my point that they don’t care about election fraud because it helped their candidate.
