Southern California JUB Meet October 3rd-5th 2008

Re: Southern California JUB Meet October 3rd-5th 2

Tell me more about your religious awakenings!

Did any of you find God and say: "O'God I'm cuming?"
I must say it was a very enlightening journey! It has opened up my eyes and I am now more "filled" with spiritual energy. ;)

Yes, Tom I remember going in deep---prayer that is, felt really good.....spirituality.

Jay---you are invited to the prayer meeting--don't wear anything to restrictive, these meetings can be a bit physical with lots of bending and stretching which are needed to do the proper prayers---of course some just lay there and get ridden by the spirit.
Of course alley, when you were deep..... in prayer, and you had your eyes closed.....it was truly amazing to see someone come around to accepting the teachings of the religion

Jay, after the prayer meeting, you may feel completely exhausted. These meetings are not for the faint of heart!

gdude---Tom gave and received communion that night and the next--he's a very righteous man.
Hahahaha.

Oh, so Wiz graciously opened you up and gave you his miracle, which resulted in your religious experience.

So what would that make Wiz if you are Saint Alley :O
Tom is the pinnacle of all things religious! May we all follow in his footsteps...... (my religious knowledge is lacking...I don't know if there's a word higher than Saint)

I thought what happens in LA stays in LA?

You bunch of deviants.

Deviants? Naw, no way. We just HAD to spread the good word of the religion. After all, we would like to find some poor souls and help guide them....(*@*)

You guys make me smile. :D
:D

So we just have to have faith? :O

((lol I don't know either))

Re: Southern California JUB Meet October 3rd-5th 2

I remember having to lay hands on two people repeatedly.....

I thought about singing the Star Spangled Banner like they did in the movie, "Shortbus" but decided I shant ruin the spirituality that was taking place!

Why somtimes we were so moved that our heels and feet just lifted off the (bed) floor and we were suddenly over-cum (or cum-over?) Hmmm.....

I wonder.....

I wonder.....

Am I the pope!?!?! Do I get to wear the hat!?!

**BUMP**

I think it's appropriate to bump this, with San Antonio coming up fairly soon. Anybody who can even maybe consider the May trip ought to read through this thread. It will give you a good idea what a successful JUB meet can involve, and the more who show up the better!

I just picked up the L. A. Weekly earlier tonight, and read through it, including looking for some ads for things happening in the future."

So what do I see? On Friday, October 3, the KRONOS QUARTET playing in Los Angeles at 8PM.

I'll stick with the JUB plans, because for me social stuff ALMOST ALWAYS trumps whatever else comes up. But, still, dammit!!!

If this helps any Apr 22, 2009 Chicago, Illinois

Jory, I managed to actually keep this info on hand all these months. Usually I misplace things like this. I've ordered tickets for this event on 22 April, yay!!! Thank you again for telling me about this at the time.

Am actually going with a male escort which has evolved into a friendship. There's still a business arrangement, but last time was deeply discounted and quite a few hours not "on the clock" at all - we watched a lot of cool videos.

So I was able to keep my JUB weekend in Anaheim intact, AND I still get to see The Kronos Quartet. Cool!

It was great that the last-of-JUB went well into Monday, hanging out with Noelie and JoeKingJay for most of the day. I understand that Noelie is likely gone forever, but what happened to JoeKingJay??

Noelie is doing good. I haven't talked to him in a while but he seems to be doing alright. I'm not sure how Joekingjay is going. Noelie might know.

Becoming friends with a male escort huh Frank. That's really interesting and somewhat rare. Congratulations on that. Would be nice to go to a JUB Meet. But I have a feeling that will have to wait until next year.

Also yeah the Anaheim one was great. I hope to meet everyone who I met at gay days again sometime. Even though Noelie and Dark Aquarius are gone. Anyways. Anyone going to the San Antonio thing it will probably be lots of fun :D

Noelie is doing fantastic--talked to him yesterday. He said he may come and visit me in the next few months. He talked to Jay a couple of months back I believe--and he was ok at the time.

Alas...I won't be able to go to the next JUB meet.....

I am hoping JoeKingJay is doing well along with Noelie. They were soooo much fun!

Damn. I was hoping to post the dates that gay days actually happened last year.

Anyways. It's sorta the gay days belated anniversary :O

I have been thinking about gay days a lot recently. It was so much fun meeting everyone and especially at disneyland. But it was even better seeing all the gay guys there. And there were so many hot gay guys too. Because of all the fun and excitement and jubbers I don't even remember caring about waiting in line :O

It seems that so many people have grown since. I know the last post was in April but still. A few people who went to this last year were single. Now some of us have partners or masters.

It sounds like this event did sort of impact everyone's life and bring out tremendous growth and change. And for the good of course.

But anyways. I was just wondering how people were doing and if they have thought about gay days as well.

Who knows. Maybe someone should plan for another gay days meet next year or the year after. Anyways.

Discuss.

I agree, it is good to see so many people doing well. :)

Gay Days, Anaheim, 2010 is a good possibility for me. I could not go this year because I already commited to a b-day event. It was fun and my first time on a yacht but still would like to go back to disneyland. :)

remind me of the dates and I'll see if I can swing it as holiday....along with everything else i need as holiday lol

I would be happy to put Gay Days Anaheim 2010 together if there is interest.

Who knows, I might actually attend the Disneyland events too.

Let me know if this is something you'd like me to work on, and I'll keep it on my radar.

I'm glad that you guys still think about the event. Thanks everyone who helped make it happen :)

You kick so much ass Stacy ^_^

That would be great. I never went to California Adventures before but honestly I liked Disneyland more. Much more. I think this is definitely something to work on. Even if a lot of people don't go or no one goes I still wanna go next year. I think to seriously start considering it and knowing if it's possible or not wouldn't go into account until next year. I know money is tight for everyone but maybe a few months instead of a year away from the date might give people a little more time to prepare or see if it's possible. Also if they want to. Some people might not want to go back just because they already did it. I sure would love to go back though even if no one else does. It's GAY DAYS!

Thank you again for making the last event accessible to everyone regardless of their age. I'm sure that wasn't easy. You have done a great job organizing event Stacy :)

I will definitely keep this in mind and see if I can make it possible next year. I hope others do as well.
