I donated loads of sperm when I was a med student, I got paid £50 a shot and did it about once a month. There must be loads of little Ben's running around South Wales (they'd be getting on for 6 or 7).

The bloody Ethics Council of Great Britain have put a stop to it now and they will only cover your expenses. AND, it's not anonymised in the UK anymore either.

That, in fact, was the exact same argument and quotation put forward by Lord Professor Robert Winston in the House of Lords debate on this issue.

It didn't get him very far either.
