Spice Girls Reunion Delayed

Apparently, the duel pregnancies of Baby and Scary Spice (Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown) have halted the Spice Girls reunion efforts to try and save the already - long dead saga.

They expect to pick back up late this year into early next year, with an album and rumored tour.

I was a HUGE fan of theirs when I was in elementary school. It's nostalgic for me. I hope it all comes together and they do a reunion album/tour/special.
 
this is been in the talks for years. baby, posh, scary and ginger all wanna do it but sporty dont want to. least she didnt. maybe shes changed her mind. it would be AWESOME if they did a come back. and did a world tour. i would FINALLY be able to see them in concert!!!
 
I've heard nothing about a concert for Princess Diana. However, this album is going to include more their original sound.

If I hear anything more I will let you all know. Girl Power!

I think I heard that rumor too. I heard they were scheduled to be the special surprise act at last years Live Aid but apparently Scary Spice backed out of it at the very end.

I would be so excited if they go back together and all, I remember seeing them in concert and even though it was just four then it was the best concert! I would love to see all five in concert though (!) (!)
 
I hope they keep getting pregnant continuously for the next 10 years so this pitiful "reunion" never happens!
 
Unfortunantly Melanie C confirmed there will not be any new material from the Spice Girls, Greatest Hits - maybe, Tour - highly doubtable, reunion for a charity concert - very possible!

That was from Melanie in early 2006 if i am correct, but this is brand new within the last few months.

Prince William was/is gonna put on a tribute concert for Diana since its going to be the 10th anniversary of her death this year. one of the acts was/is the spice girls among other big name acts
 
i've always been a Spice Girls fan...so this is great news for me.

Loved there last album Forever...one of my favs by them period.
 
I finally found a copy of the SpiceWorld movie on DVD! That is such a great guilty pleasure movie! I love the Spice Girls and I miss all their good old tunes from the fantastic late 90s......
 
I think this is good news for everyone. They were original and amazing, and when you listen to their music all the world goes away.

I heard about this when I was visiting London...the original article is from a gossip magazine called London Daily Star...and then more from Spice Girls Asia (which is their official asian site).

And no, its okay. I understand.
