Spring is finally here!

So, yesterday felt like first day of spring. Our new office has a deck out back. One guy decided to bring in a grill and other stuff for it. And for lunch, we all gathered out back and grilled. Since it was a Friday, we just hung out back there for almost 3 hours.

God, it feels good to have sunny warm days now. No longer are we cooped up in the sterile office environment.

Today is another beautiful day. My boyfriend will be at school until the afternoon. I'll be running around buying stuff for grilling later today. We just invited a bunch of people over tonight. Grill for dinner and bond fire after.

Mmhm, and isn't it depressing. I live on the second floor, total of twenty steps from here to the sidewalk and there's no knee sling on the walker and I'd have to navigate more steps and obstacles to get to the yard to sit the fuck down. Assuming a walker works on a lawn, which I've my doubts on. Fucking stuck inside unless there's an appointment, pisses me off royally. Altho Monday I plan on packing a lunch and sitting on the sidewalk outside the clinic to get some sun. At this point if anyone has an issue they can go fuck themselves, sun is a needed component.

Spring isn't starting for me like I wished. Last week I went barhopping with my crew and one by one we came down with symptoms of a cold. I lasted the entire frigid Winter without getting sick even once and now I've been in bed since Thursday.

The trees here are starting to lose their leaves. The nights and mornings are crisp, sometimes cool, but the days are mostly still like late Summer. I love Australia's loose interpretation of seasonal change.

The tulips opened this morning. They are quite late this year.

Spring can be depressing though, for those whom expected relief and don't get it from the change in seasons.
