Star Trek : First look photos

i could almost sit through this because of how hot Chris Pine is....ALMOST.
 
This film looks good with the effects, loving the cast (zach and chris are hot!!) but it looks like something of an alias/BSG mash up!

Looks nothing like trek, well maybe a little, but I prefer the TNG/VOY era much better!

Could have done alot more with the Voyager crew imo](*,)
 
They look like plastic. Or wax figures. Really, they have the same complexion that Data had in TNG. But Spock and Kirk aren't androids, so this just looks freaky.

Maybe they just look shiny because they are glowing from just having had hot man sex.
 
That cover looks freaky, like they have make up caked on like in TOS. But the other pics are lovely! I don't care much for bones, but OMG, Chekov is sooo yummy cute. I can't wait to see this one. It says they had a much larger budget than any of the previous Star Treks and there's a lot more action, so hopefully it's on par with the other sci-fi/comic movies. But then again, it is Star Trek so I won't get my hopes up. Still, I absolutely love Star Trek, so they don't have to do much to make me watch it ten times over in a single month.

I can't wait for this movie....

I know I know, I'm a huge nerd... but after watching years of reruns of every other Star Trek I'm looking forward to something fresh!

Let's just hope they make it really good and that it doesn't turn out to be just like an "Enterprise Movie."
 
No matter what, even though I'm a huge Star Trek fan, I just can't get stoked about this movie. I want to see it, but I'm not dying to see it, and if I were to miss it I'm pretty sure I wouldn't regret it.
It's just that so many people now equate Star Trek for nerdy virgins that live in their parents basements, that I'm sure this isn't going to be the big grossing movie they want it to be.
Also, I think they are depending way too much on Abrams to "fix" the franchise.
 
I was not totally excited about this movie until I saw those photos.

Wow.
