I went to Starbucks. They had a new Frapuccino flavour called Lemon Hibiscus. I thought it would be like the other Frapuccinos.

I paid $7 for some watery juice mixed with blended ice :grrr:

I've never been inside a Starbucks. From what I've heard about them, though, this doesn't surprise me at all.

:rotflmao:

you made me choke.

I stick to the White Chocolate Mocha Frappucinos or the Carmel Macchiattos. DELISH!

that's insane. for $7 I can get a whole huge lunch special at a Chinese take out place, and still have $1 left over. Pork fried rice, Shrimp Lo Mein and an egg roll. I got some yesterday.

(!)

I thought there would be more to that juice! Like cream, caffeine and milk! Milkshake-like

Lemon flavored coffee? I don't care how much cream and sugar went into it, that concoction still sounds gross.

So, did you inform them that you're an unsatisfied customer? ;)

I dont think they put any coffee in it.

But if they did, then I agree, ewwww

I used to buy Starbucks coffee at my other job, just because it was the only option nearby. Other than that, I pass.

I did buy a bag of their coffee from walmart a few weeks ago though, and I have to say it was pretty good coffee! I'm not a fan of all that fancy stuff, I just like plain black coffee.

Did you say anything? Ask for your money back? They would have given it to you. I'm so glad they're not everywhere here in England like in America. In fact, I don't even know where there is one near me. IN FACT, I don't think I've ever actually seen one in this country...

IN FACT...do we even get them in England?!

I already walked out of the 'bucks and I'm not the one to complain a lot when things like that happen.

I rip em off sometimes and get free expresso... LOOOL

But usually I get a Caramel Macchiato or Frapuccino which I like for being ripped off :-({|=

Well it depends, if some of those outrageous prices goes towards paying their employees well, offering benefits, scholarships, or back into the community, then I'd say you aren't really being ripped off. If it's all trickling up to the three or four guys at the top who sit in their expensive offices all day playing Solitaire, it's a HUUUUGE rip.

I don't like non-alcoholic drinks anyway, it goes against everything I believe in.

I love Starbucks and totally believe you get what you pay for. Tried a mocha latte from McDonald's "McCafe" menu...PUTRID, VILE FILTH.

It could be the fact I lived in the Seattle area for seven years, but Starbucks is forever in my good graces.

We do have the in the UK. There is one for every 2 subway stores and there are 2 starbucks for every body shop. :rotflmao: I've only ever eaten their cake.
