You know that feeling that you get when you come out of a period where you were really depressed for days on end? Ya I am feeling that now. Its like standing outside and you notice clouds start to part and this is the first time you noticed it was a cloudy day. I would imagine it wouldnt help after hearing things like "why is it illegal to kill gay people?" and similar pleasant remarks every time a gay theme is demonstrated on the boob tube... although I am sure they were half-joking but It seems like I am starting to notice anti-gay remarks a few times a week now... as if I didnt need a reminder that my family hates gay people.
Anyway... I am out of this funk and looking forward to my first real camping trip in a while. Despite the things they say I love my family and cant wait for the long weekend.
