Last month I started watching "The White Queen" Drama and it started off a little slow but it builds each week....Rebecca Ferguson the leading actress that plays Queen Elizabeth is good but not Devilish enough..She's not over-the-top and maybe she's not suppose to be, but I wanna see the Devil that lives in her..She is a REAL Witch after-all..LOL.....

For those of you that watch the Drama you'll probably agree that the Chicks with the most Fight are Elizabeth's Mother (Jacquetta Woodville, the elder Witch) and the Gut-wrenching "Lady Margaret Beaufort" (Amanda Hale). Lady Margaret constantly tells her BRATTY son he's gonna be King someday..At times she needs to be slapped into reality....Her emotions are all over the place and she upstages everyone on that show....She's acting her Face off and deserves an Emmy...

"King Edward" is nice looking and a decent supporting player...Yes we get Booty-shots through out the series but they're just average Butts...

Anyone watching, or did it put you to sleep?

Am watching, and I like the show. It is a shame they are only doing the one season. I always love series about the old monarchy. My only problem is that everyone is named Margaret, Elizabeth, Henry or Edward. It gets a little confusing from time to time.

I had the same thought when the Tudors was on. That is probably why they changed Henry's sisters name to Margaret from Mary.

I am really liking this show because it's a period that they hardly ever write or make movies about. Henry VII and his origins have always paled compared to the mess of his sons life. And I think the performances are really strong on this show.

Side note, it's interesting that James Frain always seems to appear on these historical dramas. He was Cromwell in the Tudors, the Spanish Ambassador in Elizabeth, and now Warwick.

ONLY 1 season? I havent heard that or read it anywhere....I need to read-up on it....They should have done a 2 part mini-series and called it a day...

I am glad they planned it as a miniseries. I have watched from the beginning and it was hard to keep up with the characters and their relationships to one another. Too many Edwards, Richards, Margarets, Henrys. I particularly do not care for the actress playing 15 y/o Henry's mother or the way she does the role. There is something about her face that I want to mash and mold into another face and crimp the corners of her mouth.

They planned The Dome as a miniseries and since we, the audience stuck with it while embarrassing ourselves for doing so, they renewed it and we got fucked by a rusty screwdriver. The acting in that thing was so horrendous, the plodding storyline that was so repetitious, the towns folk who were all jerks and sheep, and ultimately left me very angry. It will not ever be revisited by me no matter how many frigging seasons it has.

joesman - I agree with everything you said. Although, I probably will watch Under the Dome even though it screwed us over.
