STD-free Proctitis caused by anal sex?

I have a brief question,

I know chronic fecal incontinence and over-loosening of the anus is rare with anal sex if it's done right, but is Proctitis pretty typical as a result of going too fast or too rough once or twice?

I've had sex with the guy I'm seeing a few times and it's been great, but once or twice I took it too quickly and days later I still feel discomfort in the anal area and inside as well as I have a difficult time going the bathroom and constantly feel the need to defecate.

I am recently tested and STD free, as is the guy I'm seeing.

Is it common for proctitis to be caused by anal sex as opposed to bacteria?

Can slouching in my chair aggravate it, by sitting awkwardly sort of on my tailbone?

To describe the feeling further, it's like my whole anal canal is spasming, or constantly tensed up like I'm squeezing it to go to the bathroom or take a cock.

Thank you so much in advance!

Also, I am doing kegels and stuff to keep myself after beginning to have sex with him (since he is big) every few days but it just makes the area feel tense and more uncomfortable :( / a light numb pain.

Doesn't hurt bad but is alarming given the location.

It's not likely to be proctitis if you are using condoms and have no other conditions like IBD or colitis. This also assumes that you don't have an allergy to latex.

More likely it is hemorrhoids.

I would guess that you have a small anal fissure (basically a little tear). This can be caused by rough sex, and frequently causes the symptoms that you describe. If you got it once, you're more likely to get it again. This usually gets better on its own, as you've discovered I'm sure. Use plenty of lube :)

I would think that a "proctitis" is less less likely. Also, if this is clearly associated with your rough sex and gets better after a few days, I would think that hemorrhoids are less likely as well.

Okay, well to be honest it wasn't really rough sex. Definitely not at all rougher than most guys who have sex. But... it was sex. And he is large.

That said, what do you think it is? Basically he's just really big so there were a few uncomfortable/painful moments.

Do hemorrhoids go away on their own? It's been a week and it's still quite uncomfortable. It's like there is alot of tension in my ass and lower back. Note that it doesn't hurt when I go to the bathroom, it just feels sort of difficult, maybe because of all the tension down there.

There isn't any pain per se and it's not external, so I really don't think it's a fissure.

Thanks so much once again!

I wish I just knew what it was.

Not much pain but rather just discomfort. And no blood.

It just feels like I'm all battered up in there.

I wonder if it's possible to be so worried that I've become sort of anal retentive after sex and just have alot of tension in there.

Could his dick have hit far enough to cause this?

"A continuous aching pain in the anus needs to be sorted out by your doctor. It is most often caused by a back problem (when a part of the spine presses on a nerve)."

It's a constant spasm.. not painfully, but causes tiredness and discomfort in there. It's very uncomfortable to sit still... and I just can't relax it.

The best way to describe it is that it's also in my tailbone.

I have IBS and bad acid reflux (which has been under control lately-- thank you, Nexium_)...

But I KNOW this is related to anal sex. It's happened once before about two months ago from having sex.

From what I'm reading online, I feel as though it's definitely hemorrhoids... internal ones.

What do I do next?

How long till I can have receptive sex again? What should I take to help the discomfort? Etc.

Thanks!!! :)
