What should I do about my friend using steroids? He's only 25 and is under the assumption that no man will love him unless he has the body of an Olympian swimmer. He's not in bad shape at all, 5'9 160lb. I’ve decided not to speak with him anymore as of yesterday when he told me he got his “$1,500 program” I want to talk with his brother about it but I don't want to cause a rift between him and his family by over stepping my bounds but I would want somebody to tell me if my brothers was using. I’ve had a friend who was a body builder die of heart issues in November and it’s been bugging ever since if he was really taking some body enhancing drug.

Can't save em all.

And what hurdle is low enough that you would jump to save a life?

ain't none of your business..stay out of it and let him build that hot body to the max!

I'm not sure if the following are all true, but...

^Most of them are true, but this isn't sufficient to stop someone from using steroids. Likewise viewing a photo of lung cancer to a smoker.

You can't really do anything about him but advising and warning him. The most effective way is to pray your friend develop the so-called Cushing syndrome, but the chance is little when the dose is not high enough. More likely, he'll develop breasts and other feminising effects of steroid, but maybe he won't even respond to them.

It's just a damn shame. I wouldn't ever jeopardize my health for vanity. I'll just stay away from him.
