As brilliant as he is, as much as I don't want anyone but Michael Scott managing the Dunder Mifflin office, Steve announced that either this season or the next will be his last. So who would you like to see fill his spot? I hope they do this right and introduce a new character as opposed to the usual maybe-the-illusion-won't-be-ruined-when-we-give-the-same-character-a-completely-new-face.

I personally would like to see someone as quirky as Carell fill the spot, like Bill Murray or Steve Martin. Or if they go with a chick I'd like to see Jeanine Gerafalo or maybe Christina Applegate runnin' thangs.

I think Joyce Dewitt would be perfect.

i seriously cant see anyone but Steve Carell's character running the office. and im sure that one he leaves the show is not going to last.

Although I feel the same way, I would like to be pleasantly surprised by the show continuing to succeed. Steve is great, but so are other cast members. I adore Angela, Phyllis, Pim (Jam?) and Stanley.

No one. That show should be cancelled. It got so boring once Jim and Pam got together. Plus I never liked Michael. He's just so unrealistically annoying and socially inept. I'm all about Parks & Rec, Community, and 30 Rock. The office has become a dark spot in an otherwise dope lineup.

I don't see the show continuing with Michael. It's already lost a lot of it's momentum. I think they should take it as a sign to pack things up and move on to other projects.

I think Rep. John Boehner [R-Ohio #08] should resign his position as House Minority Leader for the express purpose of replacing actor Steve Carrell as the new lead on NBC's Emmy-winning The Office.

Boehner would be a wonder. (Like he is right now. But in a different venue.)
