Stock Market Crash of 2008

People are buying spam. Not to eat now, but to put away for when the bottom falls out. Gun sales are way up, not because people are nuts, but because they see it coming.

I'd forgotten that factor. Guns sell briskly any time those against the Second Amendment get a hold in Washington, so with Barrack's election brisk sales were only to be expected. But the pace has been more than anything I would have guessed. That's accounted for, too: when things look like they're turning sharply bad economically, guns sell briskly as well. Now we have those two factors working together.

GM. Ford and Chrysler are all bankrupt. Not formally, but begging the feds for cash is an admission, just the same. If Obama raises taxes on the folks who actually create jobs, then that's will essentially guarantee a deep. lasting depression for sure.

If he raises taxes on folks -- people -- with big incomes, that shouldn't disturb things too much. If he raises taxes on corporations... we're screwed.

Some have predicted food riots by 2012. It's going to be bad.

Here's clip. Mr. Celente has accurately predicted previous economic downturns, This time, he sees it as being much worse. I'm afraid he may be right.

I don't know if it will be as draconian as he is predicting Jack, but it's not going to be an easy fix for sure. LOL, It might have helped his credibility if he hadn't been interviewed while sitting on a bar stool!

I thought the setting was perfect -- a bar is where some people go to drown their sorrows, and he's definitely talking about some sorrows.
