Well, the best way to get the answers is to go to a doctor. It is possible that you have an ulcer. But my gut instinct says it is more psycho-somatic.... the stress in your life is manifesting itself as abdominal pain. It's quite common. However, the only way to say that for sure (and even then, not totally for sure) is to rule out other medical problems... ulcer, inflammation of the stomach, etc. So I'd say go to a doctor. If that isn't possible, maybe try taking up yoga or meditation. Something that will lower your stress as that would be good anyway from the sounds of things. And see if that doesn't also help with the stomach pain.

Stress can most certainly give you stomach problems.
Look at it in a different way.
You said you are not accepting being gay = you are not digesting it therefor you have stomach problems. Do some relaxation therapy, yoga, meditation but first and foremost you should deal with what is at hand.
By saying you are not accepting being gay you are in reality saying you know what the problem is.

Digest & accept, to ease the pain.

Good luck my friend.

Hans, why would you suffer for 8 years? You need a physician.
Even if it is stress, the doctor is the first step in treating whatever the problem may be. It should be obvious to you that you cannot treat/cure yourself. Small problems sometimes have a way of turning into major health issues.

Get thee to a physician, NOW.

From personal experience I think you should get it checked out. It sounds like an ulcer to me. It doesn't matter how old you are. Why suffer if you don't have to. (I mean physically. Mentally.....that a tougher issue but they sometimes go hand in hand.)

Taking a teaspoon of ginger with your meals will help with stomach and digestive problems ... You might also have some anxiety issues ; which is usually sresss related ... Hopefully; when you see the doctor , YOU will be totally honest with him and tell everything ... then he will no better just how to treat you ..

Do you take a lot of aspirin? I know when I had a bad wisdom tooth, I was literally eating aspirin all day long just to help keep the pain under control and I was getting really bad stomach pain.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Could be a peptic ulcer, but that is related more to after meal times and at night when the stomach is empty. IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) is a good possibility as would be ulcerative colitis. If you have associated bouts of diarrhea or diarrhea with mucous/blood streaking = IBS or UC until proven otherwise. Your stress with high standards and schooling add to the problem as most who have this condition have such personalities. A multi-medical approach is best (psychological / medicine). But this is all guess work and the only way to get it diagnosed and treated properly is with a properly trained physician. Go there.

You should definetly go see a doctor. If your parents don't agree then go to an emergency room. They cannot refuse to see you in any emergency room even if you are unable to pay. Then afterwards you can set up a re-payment plan as low as $5 -$10 dollars per month. There are many different stomach related illnesses, if you leave it go it could turn into something more serious. If you are afraid about your parents finding out that you went, have them send the bill to a friends or relatives address.

Your first post talked about stomach pains and some stress and depression and your second post further indicated intestinal problems including diarrhea and/or constipation. Are the intestinal problems less severe or not as noteworthy that you didn't bring them up the 1st time? How long have you been experiencing this. You've taken antacids ..antacids can be a cause of diarrhea. The other thing I noticed is in your profile you work in fast food...could it be too much grease/fatty food and sodas? Cut them out of your diet!!!

The reason I'm asking is because I have gone through a similar situation as what you're talking about...for years I suffered with intestinal & stomach problems and depression, body aches, etc.... I have been able to gain control naturally by vastly altering my diet. I don't necessarily want to discuss my situation...but in my efforts of trying to determine what the actual source of my problems were, I found that many stomach/intestinal/digestive problems and diseases have similar symptoms...and can often be misdiagnosed by doctors. The limited info you've provided is not enough for even a qualified doctor to pinpoint without more info...so I certainly don't want to lead you in the wrong direction or alarm you.

Since you are unable to see a Doctor, I will suggest that you do as much research as possible. A lot of info is on-line. Things you may want to investigate are Irritable/Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome - IBS, Celiac's Disease - gluten sensitivity, Chron's disease, Lactose Intolerance, Food allergies/sensitivities, Diverticulitis. You may be able to eliminate some as possibilities or they'll link you to something else. Try to be very specific and observant of when symptoms occur what you've eaten recently, etc. I had kept a daily journal of what I'd eaten as well as records of pains & bowel movement types (TMI...I know...sorry) to see if there were any connections/patterns (there were). This type of info may also be useful for the doctor when you eventually see him/her.

When it comes to your health you must be proactive and not ignore things you know are not right....without being a hypochondriac ;).

You're covered by your Dad's medical insurance, so just go see a doctor. You don't actually need your parents' permission.

I am going to guess IBS. www.aboutibs.org

You should still check it out with a doctor though.
I'm guessing this too. Irritable Bowel Syndrome is VERY common and you have a lot of the symptoms. The pain can be anywhere in the belly and can move around.

Along with it often comes GastroEsophageal Reflux (Heartburn), due to the same causes. This is pain that is usually in the pit of the stomach and in the chest. It often responds to things like Tagamet and Prilosec, quitting smoking, eating smaller meals, avoiding aspirin and ibuprofen and caffeine.
