Okay mes amis....

Still First World Problems...but the LCBO, the largest purchaser of spirits and wines etc.in the world.......has run out of Jack Daniels Bourbon.

Even in my most savage 'Fuck America products' under the Trump Nafta 2.0 nonsense, Jack Daniels has been my guilty pleasure for Bourbon.

and suddenly....empty shelves, empty shelves, empty shelves everywhere I looked for Bourbon for our sauces, our chocolate cake and my own sipping pleasure.

Today, there were literally six small bottles on our LCBO shelf. If you are still able to get this stuff....pm me and we'lll...no wait...we can't ship to Canuckistan.


At least they can get small bottles?

uh-oh, now I'm concerned! I only have a full 750 ml and 2/3 more of another in the liquor cabinet. I better go shopping... :eek:

I see that now that I've read some of the articles in the link you posted...seems for now it's the larger bottles that are in short supply. I also looked online at a chain liquor store in my area...the one near me did have the smaller bottles (100 ml and lower) but only has 1.75 & 750 ml Jack Daniels Green Label and 750 ml in single barrel...no No. 7. I didn't look at other brands at that store. There's another store in the same chain in a 'burb on the other side of the city that has those sizes in stock, but some other bourbon brands in those sizes had limited inventory.

I'm not overly worried about Jack since I have some, but I will stock up later this week since I do have to get some wine anyway for the Holidays, gifts, and other occasions. So...thanks for the heads-up on this bottle shortage.
