OK, so I just got back from the gym, and there was this high school kid in the shower (rare sight these days) with shaved pubes. On my way out of the gym, I saw him walking out with what appeared to be his girlfriend.

Straight, gay, or bi?? Do totally straight guys shave? At that age (probably 17)?

Yea many of my straight friends did in high school

yes I know several 17-19 straight guys and they all shave. A couple of them shaved all body hair. We talked about it on a few occassions getting drunk and such. Happy to say they were drunk enough to show off! According to a couple who are jocks, they know lots of fellow jocks who trim or shave. They also prefer shaved pussy. Manscaping is alive and well with straights.

I think the tides have turned and it's the str8 guys shaving and gay guys just trimming. imho

Some of them shave because it's the only way their girlfriends are willing to give head.

Yep! If a guy, no matter what sexual orientation he is, isn't happy with the size of his penis, he's likely to shave to create an illusion of a larger member.

And, straight guys trim their pubes too, not just the gay guys. Bushy pubic hair makes a guy look more virile, so I can imagine plenty of women out there would think their boyfriends or husbands would look hotter if they have bushy pubic hair.

This is your answer... it's only polite really, if you expect a girl to shave for you to go down on her, why shouldn't she expect you to shave for her to go down on you? This isn't just my opinion on it, but the commonly held opinion amongst my friends as well.

I don't shave. I trim. But I guess the main principle here is that I like to keep myself well groomed. I keep the hair on my head shaped and cut, I style my facial hair, and I keep my body hair in check. I don't like looking as if I just rolled out of the jungle. I don't believe for a second that trimming off unsightly body hair also trims away at your manhood. We all have our preferences.

And for the record, I know that my entire high school swim team practiced full body shaving. Even the parts covered by their speedoes -- some going as far as to shave their heads for the sake of being more streamlined! You'd think they were training for the Olympics instead of school competition...

I never minded a girl who didn't shave as long as she wasn't too bushy - I've seen a few girls so hairy you can't even see their labia - there's something sort of erotic about having to stop eating her pussy to remove a few stray hairs from your tongue & mouth but she's so worked up she just begs you to get back to work - a fun tease to prolong the hair removal a bit until she's practically begging

shaving a girl is so damn much fun if she'll let you, get her all nicely lathered up, do it really slowly & gently, some girls get so wet if you do this & then you can get them really worked up by shaving, fingering, shaving, fingering, then finish them by gently rubbing oil all over their newly bare kitty

Body hair is over rated. I have shaved everything at one point or another but I shave my arm pits, chest and pubes twice a week or so and every now and then shave around my ass just for the sake of hygene. I started shaving when I was 16 and was totally straight then and I'm bi now so nothing has really changed.

Had several friends on the swim team who shaved all to increase their speed times. Lower resistance. There girlfriends loved it to.

#-o In another couple o' decades, sociologists are gonna look back and say WTF were they thinking!!?? As to making it look bigger - it doesn't ! Just a lot like a 12 yr. old boys. This is a pop trend that transcends dumbass. A wee bit of a trim if you're overly bushy is one thing - shaving everything is another. Hygiene my Aunt Fanny - we survived centuries without this wackadoo thinking and when the pendulum swings back as it invariably will, there'll be a myriad of em-bare-assed shaving devotees......!oops!

Actually, I disagree. Technology's evolved to the point where ridding yourself of "unsightly" body hair is quicker, less painful (in some cases), and convenient. It's also a case of people started doing it, and seeing that it's generally more preferable to be trimmed or bald than letting it all grow out. If anything, I think it's going to be more pervasive. And when we start delving into "genetic enhancements" in about 30 years, don't be surprised to see the "body hair suppression" gene therapy package being all the rage.

Actually, a few girls have personally told me that it does look bigger when trimmed down, not hidden by all the fluff.

Now I think that's really an unfair statement. That's insulting people's taste. A lot of people really like it. Just because you don't, it automatically makes the rest of us "dumbasses".

We've also survived without antibiotics, vaccines, and aspirin. But it's undeniable that doing certain things can improve the quality of life. Some things have a bigger impact than others, of course . . . But you see my point?

yeah they do

i was a little skeptical about it at first but after doing it like the way it looks. lol
