Str8 young guys shave?

I've shaved before and was miserable because it's so uncomfortable after, shaved my chest & pretty much everything. Now I just trim a little.

I like smooth guys myself though, actually I'm not all that picky either way. Certain guys look better a bit hairy.

in the interest of understanding this major conflict, i shaved my balls and trimmed my hedge a week ago as an experiment.

sitting naked by the pool...great, sitting naked in the pool and spa,,,didn't notice a difference.

going commando in the 100% heat around town i noticed a very uncomfortable clinging of my testicle sac to my thigh...very uncomfortable and noted more sweating in thee groin area...also uncomfortable. not much fun rearranging ones self in the line at safeway, starbucks even barnes and noble!!!

my gallant sword appeared not to be noticably larger and after 3 days the itch factor convinced me that wild and wooly (au natural) was my venue. so, go ahead you hirsute adverse people, i won't judge you but this is not a grooming standard i can embrace.

Body hair is over rated. I have shaved everything at one point or another but I shave my arm pits, chest and pubes twice a week or so and every now and then shave around my ass just for the sake of hygene. I started shaving when I was 16 and was totally straight then and I'm bi now so nothing has really changed.

The right amount of body hair in the right places on some guys can almost make me come just looking. It all depends. Me, i shave too, but not pubes - i really like pubes.

Sure, but these are guys who are either trying out for porn or already in it. They have probably absorbed the idea that shaving is expected in porn. On the college campus where I work and use the gym, I would say most young men are trimmed, but totally shaved is much less common. About as many guys are totally shaved as are totally natural. (The nerdier the guy, the more likely he is to be natural, or so it seems.)

This makes me soo sad. I know everyone has preferences - but mine is for HAIR . I wish i had more of it. I cherish every one that i do have - including a full mop on my head. I saw a goreous 20 something on a construction site - and from a distance i thought 0 gee no hair on his chest. then i got closer and saw what looked like 4-5 days of STIBBLE near his pecs, around his nipples and below his belly button. I wanted to cry- he was goreous and would have looked soo much hotter with his natural hair. I'm sure he trimmed severely down below or worse - shaved - based on the fact that he would take a razor to his nipples and happy trail - so i wasnt very happy !!
Damn - i just dont get it !! sorry - if i could spray my body with ROGAIN = you can be sure I would.

I've had about half a dozen of my (also (very) straight) friends tell me the same thing. I don't know whether to believe them or go with my initial theory of them just preferring the smooth feel for themselves and having a justification for it.

Not actually...I tape my buddies, not porn stars, and most of the time it's a surprise that we're gonna be taping. Also, because I'm a porn producer these guys feel comfortable getting naked around me in general...so at parties where guys get naked just because they wanna be naked, most of them are bare.

And yes, I have a lot of marines that just like to get naked at my parties. It's not a bad life.

Completely shaved (though I thought he had just a really really trimmed down one the last time I actually saw him naked), and I'm sure he enjoys the feel for his alone time as much as when he's going at it with his girlfriend.

I have a 22 year old friend who shaves (leaves his hot trail though)........despite the fact his gf doesn't even particularly like it.......he said many of his buddies shave too........

BTW I do like a guy with some thatch, but I think clan shaving encourages ball-licking. Does for me anyway...no pubes in the mouth. Also, I find it discourages Stinky Crotch.

^More and more of my friends are admitting to it too. Although we're all older - early 30s - and we trim and scape more than shaving ourselves completely smooth.

And yes, I did indeed say we - I do shave the bag and then trim very heavily up top. As CGHJ said, it encourages ball-licking.

What's actually surprising to e is the number of hardcore marines I meet that shave their pits. That I'm not a big fan of. I like my men with some hair, it's not ALL evil!

And frankly, I like looking at pictures of guys with pubes. I think the thatch is hawt. It's just that when I put the actual ball into my mouth, shaved is nice so I don't get hair in my teeth.
