Its very obvious that my best friend is straight. He's a hairy young man that blows me away. I wish literally. Anyways he doesn't really hook up (have sex) randomly but did recently. I got super upset because its so unfair how someone unattractive that he doesn't even know can suck his dick, but someone who has always been there for them will never had a chance. Has anyone had this experience. Just so frustrated.

Anyway, as you said, he's straight, and I have been in your position (years ago). Best bet is to move on and avoid having these feelings for straight friends. They only hurt you and potentially your friendship.

It's a 8/10 chance that the friends we're secretly attracted to will never reciprocate those same feelings. Even if your friend was attracted to guys, how are you sure he'd be attracted to you?

Some friendships are platonic, some can be sexual, and sometimes both. Don't waste your time harping on this....a friend is more important than desires.

Basically it sucks. And I understand completely how unfair it feels that you will never have a chance to share a sexual relationship with this person you love and have loved while some strangers might.

That said, it's important to respect your friends and their wishes. Unfortunately for you, he's into women like 90% of the guys out there. So, you will never have a chance to share the sexual relationship you so desperately want.

It sucks, but sadly is a fact of life. I've been there. And, unfortunately, no matter how I try to avoid it, I occasionally go back there. It sucks.
