Straight Boy Scout Leaders in Action

So what does this have to do with them being straight?

They should be booted from Scouts and barred from ever participating again in any way, be required to pay for putting the rock back, and get 1 hour of community service for every century it took for that formation to be shaped by nature.

I suppose you are right. As Leaders they can't be gay.

Still doesn't say much for making a story about leaders who are also ridiculous morons into a story about their sexuality as if an openly gay leader would have done better when that fact not only isn't proven, but can't be proven.

I just don't get why people feel the need to put a sensationalist spin on something when it's not called for.

Gay Scout leaders would have posed with the rock to look sexy. :p

Before they defaced the damn thing, I could actually see myself posing near it since it was so interesting.

I am not the one who decided that straight guys were the only ones fit to sculpt [STRIKE]our environment[/STRIKE] our future leaders.

But I do suppose "straight" and "Boy Scout Leaders" is redundant. My apology to your high horse.

I guess the scout leader wasn't aware that there was a better way to get his rocks off.. :)

Damn! You're tough. But I agree with you.

The fat fuck may be going to jail--last night on the news it was revealed that he was in a minor traffic accident with a teenage girl and sued her family for ruining his life--that he was in pain and couldn't do what he did before, as he had so many aches and pains---then the fool post;s this criminal act online where he's pushing over million year old acts of nature --so the girl's Dad saw this false claim and he may be in trouble for false claims. This guy is a creep.

Nature would have done it in another decade or so.
Oh. So lets just start letting national park visitors do stuff like being careless with fires, because sooner or later nature will burn it like it did in Yellowstone. Or let's just let people kill endangered animals in a park, because sooner of later nature will kill them.

The point is, what they did sends the wrong message to everyone else if it goes unpunished. Let's just let everyone play God and abuse our reserved national parks or pollute them or vandalize them. Why not? It's all just like mining in Appalachia, right?

And their damage control pitiful excuse was silly. The boulder could have killed a little kid . . ok. Why didn't they go an knock down all the other fragile rocks that same park has, many of which are more bigger and dangerous to all the "vulnerable little kids". (the park has no history of this happening to little kids)

Gay scouts and scout leaders have been taking a shit load of crap lately for doing nothing wrong (for the most part). When scout leaders do something as malicious and stupid as this and post it to YouTube, I think it's good to point out that they're straight. The scouts organization makes gay leaders into criminals. It's nice to see these straight leaders not only prove that they're criminal and vandals, but that they are complete idiots to boot.

I don't get this at all, or rather, I don't get what this proves. Gay scouts and scout leaders are vilified for absolute conjecture, fear and paranoia - not for things they (most of them) actually did. So with this video showing that these scout leaders are absolute criminals and morons, it doesn't really prove that:

1. A gay scout leader would have done better.
2. Now that there are straight criminals in scouts that there aren't any reasons to oppose gay leaders or scouts.

If the point is that we're all capable of breaking the law, then I can see a lighter point, but I'm sure in the eyes of those that are intolerant asses, breaking a landmark is a far less serious crime than the very fear of molestation, or even of teaching tolerance.

I just don't get what their sexuality has to do with their criminal action - it just rings like a hollow shot to me.

I said the same thing. I just used different words.

Has nothing to do with it. You're just focused on an isolated remark about it here in a gay forum. Go look at many of the other various news sources out there, and their sexuality is not brought up at all while they are still being criticized.

lol "muscles over here push it off"
He should have said " .... over here push it off"

Their excuse was " its all about saving lives"
Quite a good reason i reckon.

Nature would have done it in another decade or so.

Not in favor of the deed, but it hardly defaced the park. The rock one over could have looked like that a year ago.

They didn't rob any animal of a habitat. Entire mountaintops are removed in the Appalachians in mining.

I'd rather engage these men than ridicule them. Animus is wasted here.

No, the point is to cite an isolated incident, atypical of Scouts or their leaders, and exaggerate it into a bitchy complaint about the straights since the Scouts are discriminatory. The schtick is to use your vendetta, search out ammunition that can be used to make generalizations, and charge.

Everyone can see that plainly.

Hear, hear! And let's start including race, too! And income! And disabilities. It's never too late to make disparagement with immaterial descriptions.

You're just supposed to hate the right people, not think about it. Get with the rally.

I'm so glad you explained all that. And my thinking.
