Not sure I understand why that's supposed to be funny, but heterosexual humor goes over my head.
 
It was sortof funny, but this is coming from a guy who laughs at stupider jokes at work, so I may not be the best judge, but still, it was funny.
 
I think the point is that straight guys would rather die than suck dick. And even considering doing it makes him gay... and he'd rather be dead.

Or something.
 
I believe the point was that straight men think the worst insult you can give or receive is, "You look gay."

(And possibly: If he were a "real man", he would have chosen to be killed rather than give a blow job.)
