Hey so I am new here. I am straight but curious. (why I am here) I was wondering how and what age did you decide you are gay. I have been with girls and get bonded around them. I have never been with a guy so I don't know. I mean I think I I just mostly curious like how do I compare and what type of underwear do people wear.I don't believe I am gay but when did you guys deide you were?
 
I didn't "decide" anything. When I was younger I may not have known what it was that I felt but I knew I was different. Then when I hit puberty I became more aware and at 17 I came out :)
 
But how is asking questions making me gay. And I searched for help on the intense and this site came up. I know most of you are gy buy hey why not ask the people who know?

You'll have a lot of people here give you a hard time about saying you're straight, just ignore it.

I don't think it's really a case of deciding to be gay, it more realizing you're gay. I realized it around 16 when I wasn't feeling the same about girls as all my friends. I tried dating girls but it just didn't feel right.

As for seeing how you compare to other guys. I don't think that makes you gay. That's just human nature. All guys want to know how they compare to others. That happens in every high school locker room.

There is plenty here to check out and compare. ;)

We live in a World where "Bisexuality" is being explored more than ever...A Straight person being "Curious" is as natural today than it was yesterday...

That does not make him a closet case...
 
Twix do you find your male friends attractive on looks like you do with girls? Is your attraction to girls naturally strong or are you somewhat needing to mentally force yourself onto them? Have you had sex with girls and how did you feel physiologically about it? Do you watch straight porn to get off? Do you feel curious about gay porn/sex but afraid to look because it might make you "gay"?

The proper question should be at what age did you accept/realize that you have sexual attraction to males instead of at what age did you "decide" that you're gay.
 
IMO straight and gay are imagined communities. The word homosexual only came about in 1850. You are a sentient being who . . .

Anything you fill in the rest of that sentence with is not something you have to turn into an identity if you don't want to.

I like to believe we are all born in a "default state" and are mostly the same and that all forms of separation and grouping are illusions we can deconstruct.

If you are with a man, you're with a man. I don't believe you should have to join a new group or realize a different identity than the one you have now. I don't believe in the idea that the lives people lead are ever false, even if identity changes. If you slept with a person with blue eyes for the first time, would you need a new label?

I do think you're curious. All humans are. :)

You went left-field with your questions..The OP is not stating that he THINKS he could be Gay or Bisexual he simply asked when did YOU know that you were Gay...:cool:...
 
Well, whatever you are, welcome to JUB :)

I never decided I was gay. I'm who I am, and it's just taking awhile for me to get used to it. Now, that doesn't mean that once in awhile I can't get into girls ;) I know I'm not bi because I could never be romantically involved with a woman. I started liking guys since I was about 7. Only in the past 2 years I started getting into women :) I hope by all of our stories you come to realize that there's no clear way sexuality operates. If it turns you on, great!

Because he said he was "curious" I'm trying to figure out extent of his curiosity towards males.

If I ask any of my straight guys about this web site. They def dunno what Im talking about. They won't go and ask some questions like you cuz they rather talk to Ladies than Guys. Trust me.
 
Guy's be nice and answer his freaking questions or do not write at all..shessh..Yes, he's a bit ignorant(in the sense of not knowing) but let's dispel that without the damn diatribe and barbs..
 
I am a firm believer in the Kinsey formulae that your sexuality varies between 100% str8 and 100% gay and relatively few guys are at the extreme ends of the spectrum. Which means that most guys are 'curious' to some degree.
The OP is asking the question how many guys on this site are towards the gay end of the scale, he is just curious!
Clearly coming to a site like this he will get an answer biassed towards the gay end. If he asked the same question on a Str8 site he would receive a completely different answer to his question.
So just lets forget labels and explore our sexuality and see where it takes us, the big problem however is the lack of social acceptance of anything considered gay . Being truely Bi myself it is certainly easier to live a full str8 life but your interests in gay sex will always be there making life a bit difficult!
So to the OP do not be put off by some of the comments you get from some of our gayer members explore this site and you will learn a lot about sexuality in general, I know I have!
