Rhett has alluded several times to having a bizarre/unconventional family life. He often didnt even live with his parents throughout high school and stayed with friends or on his own. It's obvious that nobody is really waiting for fathers and sons to engage in sexual acts that break the law. That's a given. This however doesn't break the law. It does however break with a moral code that's been etched into our bones, and it has been for numerous generations.
We can't justify on a moral level what we're seeing. Because fathers and sons live in different worlds. They are not equal, they will never be equal, because that is the nature of their relationship. It's not just the age gap, it's the implications behind the whole ordeal that make it just too wrong for us to consider.
But let's be honest here. This is fantasy. This isn't real, and we can pretty much watch this without any guilt because both are adults, both agreed to do it, and there's a very real possibility that this is just two people pretending. The circumstances surrounding this movie make it easier for us to accept it.
Part of the fantasy is the notion of a teacher and a student, the crooked balance between fathers and sons. Both are male, and both are subject to the ideals and misconceptions surrounding men. Which means they are driven by sex and act on impulse when hormones are involved. It's also a warped version of a role model and the one he's supposed to be a role model to. Sons, as we're told, ought to look up to their fathers as role models, as examples of manhood.
I reckon father son fantasies are more common than we would like to admit, but it's of the utmost importance that we never forget that they remain fantasies, we want them to be fantasies, because we don't want them to become reality... because the reality it presents, goes against our sanity.
To be honest I think you can sum up the pros and cons of this video point by point. The cons being very much reason and rational objections to the situation, the pros being curiosity and fantasy.
Cons:
- young guy and old guy, one is hot, the other is not.
- demented backstory that implies socially unacceptable behaviour.
- Inequality between the two involved on a very fundamental level.
- It's flirting with a topic that is the cause of a lot of grief.
Pros:
- Teacher student dynamic. Two generations, is there a difference?

- How will they interact?
- It's playing with a socially awkward situation... a young person being able to directly compare himself to a father figure... in this case the father figure literally being his father. (a reverse situation, it's wrong if old lusts after younger, but what if young lusts after older. We almost expect one, but not the other... because of virility, one has lost its virility and yearns for the virility of the other)
Every reasonable bone in my body is telling me that this is wrong and that I should never watch this... but then again... there are very unreasonable parts that have some sort of sick and twisted interest in seeing how this plays out. It's the forbidden fruit.
I do feel the need to mention that I find it socially unacceptable, and I would never ever want to be in that position, neither as a son nor as a father, and I would never suggest this kind of behaviour to anyone. It's also something worth noting that both men involved are adults, which elevates the situation to a level where it can be considered, because we're dealing with two people who are responsible for their own actions. It's not a situation where one is forcing the other, and it's not that one is responsible for the other. I'm still holding out that this isn't what it says it is, and I'm placing this whole scenario firmly in the "it's not real"-camp...
and they're not crossing the final line of actually engaging in sexual acts with each other... they're not touching each other, they're just masturbation... which is somehow the least disturbing act of the spectrum. (or maybe that's voyeurism, but masturbation ranks low on the list...)
Which brings me to a whole different point... I think it's weird that I rank masturbation lower on the list than kissing... why would masturbating with someone else in the room (and not touching each other mind you) be less offensive to me than two people kissing. Maybe it's the physical contact bit, maybe it's because masturbation is less personal somehow, or at least isn't as associated with actual feelings of love and affection as kissing.
I'm so over-analyzing the situation... which I think is my way of coping with disturbing material that is socially unacceptable... but at the same time I wonder if I'm getting the message across, because I'm worried that by bringing reason into a discussion closely linked to morally unacceptable behaviour will make me sound like someone who undermines moral and socially unacceptable behaviour... which I'm not trying to, because I'm usually quite vanilla and very much following the social and moral norms, especially those that are embedded in law.

well there is a huge difference, one expects a father to teach rules and what is wrong and bad to his kids, he has to set boundaries, whereas two brothers (except maybe be brothers with big age differences) dont have to.
